On June 6th, the students from Centro Educativo João Paulo II faced another edition of the theoretical test of the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad (OBR). Held annually, the test is addressed to elementary, high school and technical education students from both public and private schools.
The annual participation in the OBR theoretical test reinforces the institution’s commitment to the educational development of children and adolescents. Critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and teamwork are among the skills fostered throughout this process.
The content promoted by the OBR integrates robotics and artificial intelligence into school subjects, showing that knowledge acquired in the classroom can be applied to create practical solutions and develop advanced technologies. The goal is to expand access to Educational Robotics and encourage its use in everyday school life.
In addition to the knowledge gained during the evaluation, the OBR recognizes participants’ performance through medals and certificates, awarded according to each phase and modality. The Olympiad can also open doors to other robotics competitions and opportunities in universities.
The team of the Centro Educativo João Paulo II believes that the participation of young people in initiatives like this is essential for a broader learning experience, promoting integral development and inspiring them to build a promising future.
