Robotics fair
The Robotics Fair at the Centro Educativo João Paulo II is one of the most awaited events of the year, bringing together students, parents, visitors and invited schools to discover the learning and technological innovations developed by the students throughout the school year. With the central theme “Technological Advancements Over Time,” the fair aims to trace a chronology of scientific and technological progress, showing how humanity has evolved in creating solutions that have transformed the world and our lives.
Held at the end of the year, the fair is structured into at least 20 booths, each dedicated to projects where students, guided by their teachers, present prototypes, programs and interactive constructions they have developed themselves. These are assembled by student representatives of each class, true protagonists responsible for explaining in detail the functioning of the built prototype, the research and creation process and the contextualization of the technology being explored.
One of the main goals of the fair is to promote interdisciplinarity, involving concepts of robotics, programming, electronics, logic, sustainability and even design, demonstrating how these fields converge to create innovative solutions. Students showcase the use of modern technologies such as sensors, motors, mechanical structures and sustainable energy, linking these tools to their practical applications in society.
The Robotics Fair is not just an opportunity to exhibit prototypes but also a way to integrate the school community and its surroundings. Students from other classes have the chance to learn about projects from different age groups and varying levels of complexity, while parents and visitors can closely monitor their children’s educational progress. Additionally, invited schools have the chance to observe the innovative teaching method adopted, showing how robotics and programming are today essential pillars in the education for the future.
“Do not let yourselves be carried away by life, but take it into your own hands and decide to make it a true and personal masterpiece!”.
