Psychological and Socio-Emotional Support

Projects

Psychological and
Socio-Emotional Support

The psychological support work at the João Paulo II Educational Center aims to help children, pre-adolescents, and adolescents better manage their emotions, family conflicts, and the challenges of their environment through a service called the “Psychological Attention Point.” In this way, students are welcomed, followed, and supported in their needs. The family is always involved and actively participates in the support process, which can be very brief or may require referral to external and specialized support services.

Furthermore, the psychologist also organizes and conducts monthly training courses for the institution’s teachers, focusing on human development. The goal is to assist teachers in the various dimensions of pedagogical, emotional, and behavioral work.

“Do not let yourselves be carried away by life, but take it into your own hands and decide to make it a true and personal masterpiece!”.

Pope John Paul II to the Youth, 1985.
